ISTS HOMETO MUSEUM
1. ห้องวัฒนธรรมโลหะและโลหัช (Metalware)


       จัดแสดงเครื่องใช้ที่ทำด้วยโลหะ และโลหะผสม เช่น เงิน ตะกั่ว ทองแดง สำริด นาก ทองเหลือง เป็นต้น  ซึ่งภาชนะบางชนิดจัดแสดงให้เห็นถึงลักษณะการใช้สอย เช่น ขันหมาก เครื่องเชี่ยน กระบอกขนมจีน เป็นต้น

       This collection displays implements made from metal and alloys such as silver, lead, copper, bronze, copper red, brass and nielloware.  Some utensils are displayed in order to indicate their application such as wedding bowls and betel-nut trays.



2. ห้องอิสลามศึกษา (Islam Studies)


           จัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับประวัติพัฒนาการ และการแพร่กระจายของศาสนาอิสลามในภาคใต้ รวมทั้งวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี และวิถีชีวิตของชาวใต้ที่นับถือศาสนาอิสลาม

          This exhibition provides information about the history, development and spread of Islam in Southern Thailand and includes the culture, traditions and the way of life of Southerners who follow the Islamic Faith.



3. ห้องการละเล่นพื้นเมือง (Folk Plays and Music Instruments)

       จัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับการละเล่นและดนตรีพื้นบ้านภาคใต้ด้วยระบบมัลติมีเดีย (Multimedia) ได้แก่ หนังตะลุง โนรา กาหลอ ลิเกป่า ฯลฯ นอกจากนี้ยังมีโรงหนังตะลุงจำลอง รูปหนังตะลุง หุ่นแสดงท่ารำโนรา หุ่นนักดนตรีโนรา เครื่องดนตรีพื้นบ้าน และประวัติศิลปินแห่งชาติที่เป็นชาวใต้

       This exhibition demonstrates the folk plays and music of Southern Thailand, such as the shodow-puppet play, the Nora dance, Ka-loh (traditional Malay folk music) and Likae-Pah (folk music drama), and so on by using multimedia.  In addition, the exhibition includes a replica of a shadow puppet screen and stage with puppets, a mannequin of a Nora dancer in dance posture with accompanying Nora musicians, folk musical instruments and the historical backgrounds of nationally renowned Southern artists.



4. ห้องเหรียญและเงินตรา (Coins and Currencies)

           จัดแสดงพัฒนาการของเหรียญและเงินตราที่ใช้ในประเทศไทย และในภาคใต้ รวมทั้งเหรียญและ เงินตราต่างชาติที่พบในภาคใต้ เช่น เหรียญจีนสมัยราชวงศ์ต่าง ๆ เหรียญเงินตราของชาวชวา มลายู ตลอดจนเหรียญเงินตราของประเทศในยุโรปที่ใช้ในประเทศอาณานิคม เป็นต้น

          This exhibit demonstrates the development of coins and currency that have been used in Thailand as well as those from abroad such as from the various Chinese dynasties, from Java-Malaya and coins from Europe that had been used in their colonies.



5. ห้องศาสนา (Religion)

       จัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับศาสนาพุธ และศาสนาพราหมณ์ในภาคใต้ โดยใช้ศาสนวัตถุที่เป็นวัตถุของจริง จำลองภาพเขียนและภาพถ่าย เช่น ฐานศิวลึงค์ ใบเสมา ธรรมาสน์ ภาพถ่ายจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง วัดมัชฌิมาวาสฯ จังหวัดสงขลา วัดชลธาราสิงเห จังหวัดนราธิวาส วัดวังจังหวัดพัทลุง เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังมีภาพเขียนท่านพุทธทาสภิกขุ และท่านปัญญานันทะภิกขุ อีกด้วย

       This exihibition provides information about Buddhism and Brahminism in South Thailand by using real religiuos artifacts, models, illustrations and photographs such as lingum, a Buddhist pillar and pulpits.  Photographs of wall murals from Matchimawat Temple, Chontara Singh Temple Naratiwat province, and Jintawat Temple, Pattalung province are shown.  In addition, there are drawings of Puttatat Bhikku and Panya Nanta Bhikku, two famous monks from the South.
