1. ห้องสงขลาศึกษา (Songkhla Studies)


       จัดแสดงข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวกับเมืองสงขลาทั้งที่เป็นวัตถุของจริง เอกสารหรือสื่อที่ให้ความรู้ในด้านประวัติศาสตร์และโบราณคดีรวมทั้งสถานที่สำคัญ เช่น แผนที่เมืองสงขลา หัวเขาแดง เมืองสงขลาฝั่งแหลมสน เมืองสงขลาปัจจุบัน ตลอดจนหุ่นจำลองประตูเมืองสงขลา เป็นตน นอกจากนี้ยังจัดทำบันทึกเหตุการณ์สำคัญ ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเมืองสงขลา และรวบรวมประวัติบุคคลชาวเมืองสงขลาที่ทำคุณประโยชน์ให้แก่ประเทศชาติอีกด้วย

       This display provides Information about the town of Songkhla using freal artifacts, printed documents and other media.  It provides knowledge about the history, archeology and important sites with maps of Songkhla town when it was situated at Hua Khao Daeng, on the Lam Son shore and at its present location.  A model of the city gate of Songkhla is also shown.  In addition, there are various reference materials about the town of Songkhla including biographies of noted citizens of Songkhla who have contributed to the advancement of the country.



2. ห้องวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่น (Local Literature)

จัดแสดงวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่นภาคใต้ประเภทลายลักษณ์ ได้แก่ หนังสือบุดหรือสมุดข่อย และสมุดใบลาน  นอกจากนี้ ได้จัดแสดงวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่นที่ปริวรรตแล้ว และเปิดบริการข้อมูลให้แก่บุคคลภายนอกเข้าศึกษาค้นคว้าวิจัยเกี่ยวกับวรรณกรรมท้องถิ่น

This exhibition displays local literature of Southern Thailand written on parchment and palm leaves.  In addition, this exhibition includes restored books and data for study and research.



3. ห้องเอกสารท้องถิ่น (Local Documentation)

       จัดเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับ ทักษิณคดีที่ใช้สิ่งพิมพ์เป็นสื่อ ทั้งที่เป็นข่าวสาร บทความ บทวิจารณ์ รายงานประจำปี เอกสารประกอบการประชุมสัมมนา ตำรา งานวิจัย และรวบรวมเอกสารเก่า ๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับทักษิณคดีโดยวิธีถ่ายสำเนา  นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นแหล่งศึกษา ค้นคว้าให้บริการข้อมูลแก่ นักวิชาการ นิสิต นักศึกษา และผู้สนใจทั่วไป

       This collection displays information, news, articles, critiques, annual reports, conference papers, texts, research and copies of old documents concerning Southern Thai studies.  This information can be used for study and research.



4. ห้องพิพิธภัณฑ์เสียง (Sound Collection)

จัดเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลประเภท เสียง ในรูปของเทปบันทึกเสียง โดยจำแนกหมวดหมู่ตามเนื้อหา เป็นคลังข้อมูลเสียงที่ให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับศิลปวัฒนธรรมภาคใต้ ซึ่งเปิดบริการให้บุคคลทั่วไปได้ศึกษาค้นคว้า ด้วยเครื่องบริการที่ทันสมัย สะดวก และรวดเร็ว

This collection features audio information about the culture of South Thailand.  It is divided into various categories of information collected from field studies and academic conferences.  This collection can be easily accessed for individual study and research.



5. ห้องพิพิธภัณฑ์ภาพ (Visual Collection)


       จัดเก็บข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทักษิณคดี ด้วยระบบภาพ ทั้งภาพถ่าย ภาพพิมพ์ ภาพลายเส้น สไลด์ แถบวีดีทัศน์ และภาพยนต์ รวมทั้งผลิตรายการเป็นโสตทัศนูปกรณ์เกี่ยวกับทักษิณคดี ด้วยระบบวีดีทัศน์ และ CD-ROM ซึ่งเปิดบริการด้านข้อมูลแก่นักวิชาการ นิสิต นักศึกษา และผู้สนใจทั่วไป

       This collection of data of Southern Thai Studies consists of photographs, prints, graphics, slides, videos and movies.  The programs produced are also available in CD-ROM for scholars, students and the general public.



6. ห้องศูนย์บริการข้อมูล (Information Service Center)

จัดรวบรวมและบริการข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวกับทักษิณคดี ด้วยระบบคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อเชื่อมโยงกับสถาบันทางวัฒนธรรมอื่น ๆ และให้บริการสืบค้นข้อมูลทางวัฒนธรรมภาคใต้

This collection of data displayed by computer is linked with other cultural institutes and the information of Southern Thai studies is used for study and research about the culture of Southern Thailand.
